
British tennis talent Jack Draper won his first ATP Masters 1000 title after defeating Holger Rune in the final of the Indian Wells Open. The British player achieved a straight set victory by 2-0 (6:2, 6:2) in 70 minutes of play.
Jack Draper 10 aces, while his opponent made 2 double faults. The big difference, however, came from the winners, as the British player scored 21 against only 7 for Holger Rune, who however had quite more unforced errors 20-16.
Jack Draper started strongly the match by recording two breaks in the start and taking a lead of 4:0, giving only 2 points to Holger Rune on his serve. The Danish player won his first game for 4:1, but needed to overcome a break. Jack Draper kept his lead by closing his serve game on zero and after exchanging a game he won the set by 6:2.
The second set started in similar fashion with Jack Draper breaking in the very beginning and took a lead by 2:0. Both players exchanged serve games to 4:2, when the British talent got another break for 5:2 and then closed the set on his won serve at 6:2 to win the match.
This is the most prestigious title for Jack Draper, as until today he has two WTA 500 title at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna, as well as one WTA 250 BOSS Open in Stuttgart.
