In the next round she will face another French tennis player – the qualifier Varvara Gracheva, who defeated Sofia Kenin (USA) by 2-1 (6:7, 6:3, 6:3).
Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic) also advanced ahead in the tournament after defeating 10th-seeded Elina Svitolina (Ukraine) by 2-1 (2:6, 6:4, 6:3). In the next round, she will face the American teenager Iva Jovic (USA), who passed through qualifiers and was the lucky loser.
