In 2013, Victoria Azarenka won another Grand Slam championship – Australian Open. During the season, she won the WTA 500 Qatar Total Open and the WTA 1000 Western & Southern Open. She was a runner-up in the US Open, WTA 1000 Rome Open and WTA 500 Southern California Open. She also advanced to the semifinals of the French Open At Roland Garros. She lost her top spot at the beginning of the year and finished the season as the world’s number two.
Victoria Azarenka’s 2014 season was marred by a foot injury that forced her to miss five months of play and ended her season prematurely in September. During the year, she advanced to the quarterfinals of both the Australian and the US Open. In 2015, the situation had not altered much, as Victoria Azarenka’s season was cut short by a foot injury, despite reaching the final of the WTA 500 Qatar Total Open and the quarter-finals of the Wimbledon and US Open. Her season ended prematurely, and she finished the year as the world’s number 22.
Victoria Azarenka began 2016 on a high note, winning the WTA 500 Brisbane International and reaching the Australian Open quarterfinals. In March, she won the WTA 1000 Indian Wells and Miami Open titles. She returned to the world’s top five. Victoria Azarenka revealed her pregnancy on social media on July 15, missing the remainder of the 2016 season.
Victoria Azarenka played in two events in 2017: the WTA 250 Mallorca Open and Wimbledon, where she advanced to the fourth round. She slid out of the Top 100 and finished the season as the world’s No. 210.
The Belarusian tennis player returned to the court in March 2018 to compete in the WTA 1000 Indian Wells Open. She advanced to the second round and was upset by Sloane Stephens. However, in the same month, she advanced to the semifinals of the WTA 1000 Miami Open. Victoria Azarenka continue playing at a high level in 2024, reaching the semi-finals of the WTA 500 Brisbane International, the fourth round of the Australian Open, and the quarter-finals of the WTA 1000 Qatar TotalEnergies Open. In March, she reached the semi-finals of the WTA 1000 Miami Open and in April played in the quarter-finals of the WTA 500 Credit One Charleston Open.
